The Willow Experience -

Athletics

At Willow, we see athletics as a way to build strength, confidence, and collaboration. While our sports facilities are still growing, students enjoy regular opportunities for movement and play. As we expand, our athletic spaces will evolve to meet the needs of each age group—ensuring physical development stays an integral part of the Willow experience.

These spaces are equipped with modern equipment and are maintained to ensure safety and optimal performance. Additionally, we have dedicated areas for physical education classes and extracurricular activities, allowing students to engage in a variety of sports and fitness programs.

For sprouts & early years, the aim of physical education is to promote safety and enjoyment by learning about body awareness, body control, movement, coordination, and athletic skills. At the junior level, students begin developing skills such as catching, throwing, running and jumping.

Starting from the Junior School, mandatory after-school sports become an integral part of the Willow education, instilling self-reliance that resonates long after the last athletic season. There is a multi-sport requirement to ensure that children get exposure to multiple sports while also emphasizing life lessons beyond winning—character, discipline, accountability, friendship, and teamwork. Sports include Cricket, Football, throwball, basketball and tennis.
