Willow is built for families who believe that education should feel thoughtful, purposeful, and deeply human. Our admissions process is designed to understand each child as an individual and ensure that what we offer aligns with what a family is seeking. We’re intentional about the community we’re creating—one rooted in curiosity, care, and a shared belief in what school can be.

How to become a Willow student

Admission to Willow is a thoughtful and personal process. It helps us understand each child and gives families a closer look at what makes our approach distinct.

1 Submit an Inquiry

Take the first step by completing our inquiry form. This registers your interest in our school, and we'll keep you informed about when applications are open.

2 Online Application

Once admissions are open, parents can complete the online application form before the specified deadline.

3 School Visit

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a school visit—an ideal way to experience Willow Academy firsthand.

4 Family Meeting

Getting to know each other. We believe that formally interviewing and assessing children at a young age on its own is not informative. There are countless benefits to focusing on conversation and connection along with a placement test.

5 Entrance Test

Prospective students are required to take an entrance assessment in core subjects such as English, Math, and Science. For younger grade levels, the assessment is designed to be age appropriate, helping us understand each child’s readiness in a supportive and thoughtful way.

6 Admission Decision

Successful applicants will be notified of their admission decision via email and have 10 days to complete all admission formalities, including payment of the admission fee voucher and signing the enrollment contract.

Admission FAQS

When do applications open each year?

Applications open for a limited time period prior to the enrollment year. Refer to the key dates on the website and submit an inquiry to stay updated with application dates.

What is the Admissions Process & Age Criteria

Are applications considered on a first-come, first-served basis?

Admission is not based on the order of application submission; every eligible family with a completed application before the deadline is considered.

What happens during the school visit?

Parents get to know Willow Academy and our community during a school visit. It includes meeting various school members, touring the campus, observing teaching, and exploring extracurricular facilities. The visit takes approximately 30-45 minutes.

What happens during the Family Meeting?

We believe that formally interviewing and assessing children at a young age is not informative. There are countless benefits to focusing on conversation and connection rather than formal interviews and testing. To us, the most important benefit is that prospective parents gain an authentic understanding of the Willow Academy experience and how truly special it is to be a part of our community.

During the family meeting, parents will participate in a discussion facilitated by members of our Enrollment and Leadership Teams. Not only does this conversation provide meaning and context for your visit , but it also allows our prospective parents to gain clarity about the culture of Willow Academy.

Is there any testing for students during the admissions process?

Up till Grade II, no formal testing occurs. Students are observed in a natural classroom setting.

How are Admissions decisions made?

The Admissions Committee considers all materials, discussions during the school visit and family meeting to make informed decisions, ensuring a comprehensive view of applicants.

What if my child is not accepted for this school year?

Children not accepted can reapply for future academic years.

My child has been offered admission. What happens next?

Accepted applicants have 10 business days to complete the enrollment process, including payments and submission of the signed Admissions Contract.

Is there any application fee?

No, completing the online application form is free of charge.
